Multi-purpose Pots?

This pot has an insert that acts as a pasta strainer and it can also have other things like a vegetable steamer and maybe some other inserts. I believe it's called a "multi-purpose pot" but I'm not sure. I had one and it started getting worn out so I had to toss it. I got it from Voc Rehab while attending a Living Skills Center a few years back. Anyone know the real name of thesepots and where I can get one? I miss my pot terribly because that's what I like to use when making spaghetti and mashed potatoes and also soups and things. I have Cerebral palsy and have a hard time dealing with a regular pot and thosecheap plasticstrainers are a pain in the neck because I have a hard time dealing with handling havy things such as pots of scalding pasta water. Please help.

Ok, these are the first things I've found.

Tramontina 3-Piece 6-qt Multi-Cooker with Tempeed Glass Lid

Wallmart seems to sell something similar for $29.

I have a brilliant lock and drain lid stock pot from QVC, but they only seem to offer this in large sets. Mine doesn't have this insert, this other model seems to have.

Good luck to ya!

I know a couple of years ago, they came out with pasta pots that had the lid doubled as a strainer. I'm not sure what the name of the pot you're describing is. I know lots of cookware sets come witth things like steamer baskets.

Thank you Polka Dots and Moonbeams. I will look in to this. My old pot however, did not have a glass lid. So we'll have to see what I find. Thanks.
